The ROSE Master’s degree (second-level Master’s degree, formally known as Post-Master’s Vocational Programme) in Earthquake Engineering of the ROSE School is jointly awarded by the University of Pavia and the University School for Advanced Studies IUSS Pavia. During the 12-month programme, students will acquire the ability to undertake seismic design of new structures and the assessment and strengthening of existing structures as well as to design, execute and evaluate assessments of sites’ seismic hazard.
Alumni
Hundreds of engineers have so far obtained the Master’s Degree in Earthquake Engineering from the ROSE School. Many of them have gone on to pursue successful careers in academia, international organisations, research institutions, and leading engineering firms worldwide.
Courses
Students will attend 12 advanced and professionally oriented courses, taught by internationally renowned academics and industry experts.
Internship
Students will have the opportunity to work alongside leading professionals in the field of earthquake engineering. The internship will be conducted at either the EUCENTRE Foundation or the GEM Foundation, providing practical experience that enables students to apply the knowledge gained during coursework to real-world challenges.
